Mr. Khalid Amin is the Chancellor & Chairman Board of Governor of Indus University, Karachi Pakistan, since 2012. Currently, he is also a Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto City University (SBBCU) since March 2013, Board of Governor of Indus Education System from January 2002.

Mr. Amin, started his career as a businessman, established numerous textile factories in Pakistan which have played a major role in the development of the sector, he also formed Pakistan National Building Material Display Centre Foundation (PNBMDCF) in 2002.

The Government of Sindh, Pakistan recognized his contributions and nominated him as Justice of Peace in January 1996 to 1999 & Honorary Executive First Class Magistrate from March 1996 to February 1999.

Furthermore, Mr. Amin also possess a membership to Managing Committee of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) from January 2019, Senior Executive member of the Managing Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) from December 1984 -1987 in addition to his services.

His long-standing commitments & devotion towards education made him a role model for current & upcoming generations. His contribution for the services to humanity has gained him global recognition.
